Why Robnu is free right now — and forever free under 25 orders a day

The audience that needs Robnu most is the one that can least afford to pay for it — so they don't. Every feature is free for everyone right now, and when paid pricing eventually lands, sellers under 25 orders a day stay free forever. This is the reasoning, in plain words.

TL;DR
  • The audience that needs Robnu most is the audience that can least afford to pay for it — so they don't.
  • When paid pricing eventually launches, sellers under 25 orders a day stay free forever — a permanent commitment, not a launch promo.
  • Existing free-period users keep grandfathered early-bird rates if they cross the 25/day floor later.

Most SaaS pricing pages have three tier cards: Starter at ₹2,499/month, Pro at ₹6,999/month, Enterprise at “contact us.” We don't have those.

Robnu's pricing page has two cards. One says “Free for now.” The other says “Paid (later) — TBD.” This is deliberate. Here's the reasoning.

A typical three-tier SaaS pricing page compared against the Robnu two-card page: Free for now, and Paid later, to be determined.

Who Robnu is for

The audience anchor for everything we ship is the early-stage seller doing 1–25 orders a day on Ajio. The founder running a brand from a 2-person team. The seller whose ops budget is “my own time and maybe my partner's evenings.”

That audience has the most to gain from Robnu — the silent revenue loss is most painful when you're below the scale where hiring an ops person makes sense. They also have the least money to pay for software that solves the problem.

If the first version of Robnu charges ₹2,499/month, the audience that needs it most can't afford it. So they keep losing money to deductions, and they keep closing manifests at midnight, and the tool that would help them never reaches them.

So we don't charge

Right now, every Robnu feature is free for everyone. Every order, every seller, every marketplace. No card, no caps, no trial timer.

This is funded by Onviqa Inc., the parent company. We are running other tools and businesses that pay our bills, and Robnu is the one we're building because we think it should exist.

When does it stop being free for everyone? When we figure out paid pricing. We have not figured that out yet. The two-card pricing page is honest about that — we are not going to invent a number to put on a page.

The permanent floor

When paid pricing launches — whenever that is — anyone selling under 25 orders a day stays free. Forever. That's the floor.

The reasoning: 25 orders/day is roughly where ops cost stops being “founder's evening” and starts being “we need a hired ops person.” Below that, you're doing the ops yourself and it's tight. We don't want to be the tool that you're priced out of right at the point where you most need it. So the floor is permanent. Even when Robnu has paid tiers, the early-stage seller stays on the house.

Grandfathered rates if you cross the floor

A second commitment, narrower: every account that signs up during the free period gets early-bird locked rates if they later cross the 25/day floor. So if you're at 18 orders/day today and you grow to 35 in 18 months, you're not suddenly paying full retail — you're paying a locked rate that gets baked in when paid launches.

This is how we keep faith with the people who tried Robnu when it was unproven. They get a permanent advantage for being early.

What changes the model

One thing: a decision to lock pricing with specific numbers. That's the trigger for us to flip the pricing page from “Free for now / Paid (later) — TBD” to a real ladder.

Until that happens, the pricing page stays the way it is. The free-tier pill on every CTA — Free while we figure out pricing · Forever free under 25 orders/day — stays the way it is. You won't get an email saying “your trial is ending.” You won't find a card on file. You won't get gated out of features.

Start free

Start free. Free now. Free at 24 orders/day. Free at 35 orders/day if you're grandfathered. The point of Robnu is to save you money — we'd be missing the point if we charged you for the privilege at the moment you most need it.

Frequently asked questions

  • Because inventing a number we do not mean yet would be dishonest. One card says "Free for now" and the other says "Paid (later) — TBD." We have not figured out paid pricing, and the two-card page is honest about that rather than showing three tiers with rupee amounts we would have to walk back later.
