Variant
A specific configuration of a product — size, colour, material — under one parent listing.
A variant is one specific version of a product — usually one row in your inventory table, one SKU, one barcode.
Variants are where most operating errors live. The buyer ordered red XL, the picker grabbed red L, the slip printed correctly, and now you have a return + a deduction. Robnu can't pick the right item for you, but the validation at stage 4 of the 11-stage flow catches the mismatch between confirmed quantity and inventory, and the document pipeline catches mismatches between SKU on the slip and SKU on the invoice.
