Amazon Bazaar, and whether it is for you

Amazon Bazaar is a storefront for ultra-affordable, unbranded selection at or below INR 600 with zero referral fees. If you sell on Meesho, this is Amazon competing directly for your catalogue.

Bazaar is an Amazon India storefront for unbranded products priced at or below INR 600, with zero referral fees, fulfilled by Easy Ship or Self Ship, and joined by application. The strategic point is bigger than the programme: combined with the March 2026 zero-referral-fee restructure, Amazon is attacking the low-ticket seller base that Meesho built.

TL;DR
  • Unbranded selection at or below INR 600, zero referral fee, a storefront inside the Amazon app.
  • Fulfilment is Easy Ship or Self Ship, so weight handling and closing fees still apply.
  • Access is by application form rather than a switch in Seller Central.
  • Getting listings OUT again is the question sellers ask most and the one nothing answers.
  • Do not confuse it with Amazon Haul, which is the US equivalent and a different programme.

Amazon describes Bazaar as its offering where sellers can sell low-priced products under INR 600 at zero referral fee, a storefront on the Amazon app exclusively for ultra-affordable selection. The launch announcement.

What Amazon has actually said

Amazon describes Bazaar as its offering where sellers can sell low-priced products under INR 600 at zero referral fee, a storefront on the Amazon app exclusively for ultra-affordable selection. The launch announcement adds that it covers unbranded products at or below INR 600, charges no referral fees, is fulfilled by Easy Ship or Self Ship, and is accessed by application form.

That announcement sat on Amazon's own forum with a few hundred views and no replies, which is a fair proxy for how much seller attention it has had. The detailed help page is behind the Seller Central login.

Why this matters more than the programme itself

Put Bazaar next to the March 2026 fee restructure, which extended zero referral fees to products priced up to INR 1,000 across more than 1,800 categories, and the strategy is legible. Amazon is competing on exactly the economics that built Meesho's supplier base: low ticket, unbranded, zero commission.

If you sell on Meesho, that is the most relevant thing on this page. The decision is no longer whether Amazon is worth the operational overhead at a INR 300 price point; it is whether a second zero-commission channel is worth the listing work. Our comparison of the two marketplaces covers the rest of the difference.

Zero referral fee is not zero cost. Weight handling and closing fees still apply, all quoted before 18% GST, and a INR 300 order carries proportionally more fixed cost than a INR 3,000 one. Work it through on your own numbers before committing a catalogue.

The question nobody answers: getting out

Sellers on Amazon's forums ask how to register, how to check eligibility, and, tellingly, how to stop selling on Bazaar and how to delete listings they say they cannot control. There is no public answer to the last one.

Treat that as a real cost of entry. A programme that is easy to join and undocumented to leave deserves a smaller first commitment than you might otherwise make. List a subset, measure it against your Meesho economics on the same SKUs, and keep the ability to walk away.

Where this sits in the rest of your Amazon operation

Robnu is read-only on Amazon today: orders, returns, payouts and inventory sync so you can see and reconcile them, and it cannot accept Amazon orders or make their labels. Order processing is live for AJIO and Meesho. Related reading:

Questions sellers ask

An Amazon India storefront inside the Amazon app for ultra-affordable, unbranded selection priced at or below INR 600, with zero referral fees, fulfilled through Easy Ship or Self Ship. Amazon's own description calls it an offering where sellers can sell low-priced products under INR 600 at zero referral fee.

Through an application form rather than a setting in Seller Central. The detailed help page is behind the Seller Central login, so the public information is limited to the launch announcement and the marketing page. Sellers on Amazon's forums routinely ask how to register and how to check eligibility, which suggests the route is not obvious from inside the account either.

No. Haul is the US equivalent and a separate programme. Conflating them is the commonest error in articles about Bazaar, and it matters because the fee structures and the fulfilment options differ. This page is only about the India programme.

No. Weight handling and closing fees still apply, and every Amazon fee is quoted before 18% GST which is applied on top. At a INR 300 price point the fixed per-order costs are a much larger share of the order than at INR 3,000, so run the arithmetic on your own SKUs rather than assuming zero commission means zero cost.

It is the closest thing Amazon has built to Meesho's economics, so it is the most relevant Amazon programme for a Meesho supplier. The honest caveat is the exit: sellers ask how to leave and how to remove listings, and there is no public answer. Start with a subset of your catalogue, compare it against the same SKUs on Meesho, and keep the option to stop.
